Interdisciplinary Cardiovascular Engineering Research (ICER)

The ICER Forum is an initiative to narrow the gap between cardiovascular, biomedical research and clinical practice. The aim of the ICER Forum is to encourage collaboration and facilitate the transfer of knowledge between academics and cardiovascular clinicians in Wales.

The ICER forum originally started in 2008 to enhance the partnership between computational engineering at Swansea University and the Morriston Cardiac Centre. Since then it has expanded rapidly and now includes members from Computer Sciences, the School of Medicine and the wider Abertawe Bro Morgannwg National Health Service (ABM NHS) Trust.
